Masters of Hawaiian Music  Mar 3
Four-time Grammy-winner and slack key guitar virtuoso George Kahumoko Jr. is known has Hawaii’s Renaissance Man. Kahumoko will take the stage with slack key guitarist Kawika Kahiapo and multi-instrumentalist Nathan Aweau to perform a distinctly Hawaiian style of open tunings, along with stories and light-hearted entertainment for everyone in the audience.

World Baseball Classic Mar 14-19
The North American venues for the 2017 World Baseball Classic include San Diego! Second Round play takes place March 14-19 with potential teams including: United States, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Colombia, Canada, and Italy. Full 6-game ticket packages begin as low as $78 per 6-game plan ($13 per game) and include the full schedule of all six games at Petco Park. Each package also includes a possible bonus ‘Tiebreaker Game’ in the case of a tie (March 19th). Full 6-game strip package buyers get the best seats and the best prices.

South Oceanside Car, Bike, & Boat Show Mar 18
Over 200 cars, motorcycles, boats, and vendors selling everything from food and apparel to trinkets and car gadgets. With over 5000 attendees, last year the community of South Oceanside embraced the culture with music and performances by the students of the local elementary and middle schools.

Master pastry chefs, well-known California “sugar artists,” talented local bakers, amateur decorators, and those who enjoy beautiful sugar art of all kinds will come together for the 34th Annual San Diego “Confections for a Cause” Cake Show. Presented by the San Diego Cake Club, the theme of this year’s event is “Comic Cake.” The popular two-day Cake Show will feature a cake design competition open to everyone, a variety of decorating classes for all skill levels, skills and decorating demonstrations, plus raffles and vendor booths featuring a wide range of decorating tools, tips, and supplies.

Featuring: 5K chip-timed run or walk, 1-mile SUPERHERO Family Fun Walk, scenic Balboa Park course, educational resource fair, children’s activities, music, commemorative medals and t-shirts, prizes, refreshments, and more. Costumes and strollers welcome.

Chamorro Cultural Festival Mar 25
Chamorro Hands in Education Links Unity, the San Diego-based non-profit focused on preserving the Pacific Island culture of the Chamorros, celebrates its 8th Annual Chamorro Cultural Festival. We are proud of this accomplishment and know that many Chamorros share the same passion and desire in their culture and heritage. CCF is a free event with free parking. CCF is a highly anticipated annual family-fun event, celebrating the arts, culture, customs, and people of the Mariana Islands, which include Guam, Saipan, Rota, Tinian, and islands in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

The Bunny Ball Mar 25
Cruise 4 Kids is hosting their 3rd annual Bunny Ball to raise money and collect bunnies for sick and underprivileged children. The Bunny Ball is a high-energy black-tie spring celebration. As guests enter they will be treated to a paparazzi experience on the green grass carpet on their way to a night of festivities which includes live DJs, dancing, cocktails, raffles, silent auctions, magician, photos with bunny mascots, photo booth, balloon drop, and candy buffet along with performers throughout the night. The Bunny Ball will collect over 1500 new stuffed bunnies and place them in the ballroom in one large display called the Bunny Wall.
