(The Fair is closed on Mondays, except July 4, and the first two Tuesdays.) Brew & Food Festival June 4

Suja Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon & 1/2 Marathon June 5
Run through historic neighborhoods including Balboa Park and Old Town. The Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay are packed with live entertainment on course that will keep you rockin’ all the way to the finish line.
Chef Throwdown June 9
Hotel del Coronado’s expansive Windsor Lawn will provide the setting for this unforgettable gourmet gathering, where 30 of the best chefs from San Diego and Mexico will present signature hors d’oeuvres or desserts at individual stations. Judged by the ever-growing Culinary Council, chefs will also present their best bites with the goal of winning the Chef Flor Franco Award for Culinary Excellence, in addition to some incredible prizes. All proceeds raised at this event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
USA Surfing Championships June 9 – 12
This event is for adult longboard, SUP, and adaptive divisions. Sponsored by Surfing America, Inc. At the north harbor jetty. Spectators free.

Clean Canyons for a Clean Coast June 11
Join us, the Escondido Charitable Foundation, and the California Coastal Commission to protect our precious canyons and ocean! Volunteers will be removing litter and debris at Kit Carson Park that would otherwise travel downstream to San Diego’s coastline.
National Beer Mile June 11
The National Beer Mile will bring its innovative blend of fitness and fun to San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium on Saturday, June 11th. The one-mile course designed for fitness enthusiasts, social drinkers and party-goers is capped off by an after party featuring food, games and live music.
Oysterfest June 17 – 18
The seventh annual San Diego OysterFest returns to the beautiful Embarcadero North, featuring bands and DJs, beer from area microbreweries, fresh oysters from Mexico to the Pacific Northwest and the Atlantic Northeast, and plenty of other tasty treats for purchase.
San Diego TOWERthon June 18
The San Diego TOWERthon is a physically challenging event designed to help participants reach their endurance goals while raising much-needed funds to transform the lives of homeless teens and give them the chance to break the cycle of homelessness early on in life. The funds raised from this event will directly benefit teens living and learning at Toussaint Academy in San Diego.
Wooden Boat Festival June 18 – 19
A San Diego Father’s Day weekend tradition, the San Diego Wooden Boat festival is the premier annual event for Southern California wooden boat enthusiasts and provides a rare opportunity for the general public to view some of the most beautiful and well maintained wooden crafts up close. While this event features mostly well preserved vintage vessels, there are also plenty of new crafts that have been hand crafted with skill and meticulous detail.
SD FRINGE FESTIVAL June 23 – July 3
During the festival, artists from across the United States and around the world participate alongside home-grown talent, in art forms spanning from theatre, buskers/street performers, cabaret, comedy, circus, dance, film, poetry, spoken word, puppetry, music, visual art, design & open to any other type of artsy-ness not listed.
