Spring Home Garden Show Mar 4-6
31st annual show returns to Del Mar Fairgrounds for a three-day extravaganza of inspiring real “Garden Masters” landscapes, hands-on demonstrations, hundreds of home-improvement products and services exhibitors, educational seminars, plant sales, and face-to-face consultations with experts—one-stop shopping for everything pertaining to home and garden, inside and outside.

San Diego Undy Run/Walk  Mar 5
The Undy Run/Walk is a unique, family-friendly run/walk created by the Colon Cancer Alliance. Participants receive a pair of boxer shorts and are encouraged to run in underwear-themed outfits to get people talking about this often tabooed disease.

Cherry Blossom Festival Mar 5-6
Celebrate spring and the blooming of our 150 Cherry Tree Grove with cultural performances, traditional food, unique local vendors, children’s corner and a beer tasting! Guests may partake in Hanami, the traditional custom of picnicking under the cherry trees.

Media Arts Center San Diego is gearing up for eleven fun-filled days of international cinema at the 23rd edition of the San Diego Latino Film Festival taking place March 10-20, 2016 at AMC 18 Simon Fashion Valley Mall.

Food for Thought Festival Mar 12
The festival includes a presentation about raw food and health from San Diego expert Mimi Kirk. Kirk will demonstrate raw food preparation techniques and share samples with the audience. Bolt Brewery, La Mesa’s first microbrewery, will open with their experience establishing a brewery in the world-renowned San Diego beer scene.

The luck of the Irish will be shining upon you at the 22nd Annual shamROCK taking place on Thursday, March 17th, 2016 from 4:00 PM to Midnight in the Gaslamp Quarter, taking place on G and F Streets downtown in the Gaslamp between 5th and 7th Avenue and on 6th Avenue between E and G Streets.

12th annual event includes 5K chip-timed run or walk, 1-mile Superhero Family Fun Walk, educational resource fair, children’s activities, music, commemorative medals and T-shirts, prizes, and refreshments. Costumes and strollers welcome!

Kia Classic Mar 21-27
Entering its seventh year, the 2016 Kia Classic will be held at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, California March 21st – 27th. The Kia Classic features 144 of the best women golfers playing for the $1.7 million purse. The field features 2015 Kia Classic Champion Cristie Kerr and crowd favorites Paula Creamer, Stacy Lewis, Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson.
