THE GRIFT at the Lafayette Hotel Jan. 27 – Feb. 22
The latest presentation in the acclaimed Without Walls (WoW) series, THE GRIFT at the Lafayette Hotel is a world-premiere, immersive theatre piece which takes audiences on a participatory journey through the extraordinary rooms and spaces of this expansive, 1940s-era landmark.

San Diego Black Film Festival Jan. 29- Feb. 1
Several films from previous years have gone on to win additional awards at other film festivals. More importantly, seven films that premiered at the San Diego Black Film Festival are either in negations or have already wrapped up distribution deals including the films “Locked in a Room,” now with Echo Bridge Entertainment, and our Best Comedy winner “The Donut Shop,” now with Viva Films. Good things await our 2015 filmmakers as well.

Macy’s Museum Month Feb. 1- Feb. 28
Presented by Macy’s, this nationally-recognized program celebrates Balboa Park’s Centennial year, bringing half-off admissions to museums — located inside and outside the park — throughout the month of February. Heading into its 26th year, Macy’s Museum Month gives visitors and locals in San Diego a chance to discover what’s new at more than 40 area museums with incredible savings. Participants can pick up a Macy’s Museum Month Pass at any area Macy’s store to enjoy half-off admission to all of the participating museums through the entire month of February.

Farmers Insurance Open Feb. 5 – 8
San Diego plays host to The Farmers Insurance Open (formerly The Buick Invitational) where legends like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson have made golf history. Staged atop the bluffs overlooking the Pacific, the tour spans Torrey Pines’ most challenging terrain. Golfers, enthusiasts, and fans will join together to marvel at the showmanship of the sport in a coastal setting only San Diego can deliver.

The Burn Institute Auxiliary presents its inaugural Burn Run 5K. Join the Burn Institute and Road Runner Sports as we get moving to raise funds for scald prevention.
